One meta-analysis showed that consumption of sesame seeds was associated with a small decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure; [44] another analysis showed that consumption of sesame seeds improved fasting glucose and hemoglobin A1c. [45] A sesame oil study reported a reduction in oxidativ
