Rock algae yellow matter belongs to the natural carotenoids, in neutral conditions difficult to dissolve in water and other polar solvents, easy to dissolve in non-polar organic solvents, fat-soluble pigment. The extraction of pigment in dry powders is usually extracted using a small amount of small polar solvents in non-polar solvents.
1)Extraction process of rock algae flax in kelp: Using aqueous ethanol-acetone-petroleum ether (4:1:1) composite solvent as the extractor, it is extracted 2 times at 40:1,40 degrees C, 1h at a time. After the extracted leaching paste was saponified, the yellow matter of rock algae and the sterols of rock algae were divided by silicone column tomography: from purification, high purity products were obtained, and the purity reached 91.6%.
