The powder is yellow-white. It can be seen that there are many irregular crystal-shaped pieces of varying sizes. The lumps have a three-dimensional effect, the edges are not neat, but the edges and corners are obvious. The edges of flaky ones are often chipped and irregular. Both are translucent or slightly yellowish and shiny.
There are many small clumps that are granular or spheroidal and often aggregate into clusters.
Physical and chemical identification:
(1) This product is oily, emits black smoke, and has aroma when it burns. It is ground into a white or yellow-white emulsion with water.
(2) Take a little powder, put it in a small porcelain evaporating dish, add 2 drops of phenol-carbon tetrachloride (1:2) solution, and then add 2 drops of bromine-carbon tetrachloride (1:5) solution, that is It is brownish purple or purple.
(3) Take 1g of this product, grind it, add 10ml of methanol, shake for a while, leave it for 24h, filter, take 5ml of the filtrate, evaporate to dryness, add 10ml of dilute sulfuric acid to the residue and transfer to a separatory funnel, extract 3 times with chloroform, 10ml each time, combine the chloroform solution, evaporate to dryness, add 1ml of acetic anhydride to the residue to dissolve, then add 1ml of acetic anhydride-concentrated sulfuric acid (19:1) test solution, the solution quickly turns purple.
